Guadalajara Grill

Got a taco craving on O'ahu?

Just our opinion, but this is THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD on O'ahu. If you find yourselves on the extreme East Side of the North Shore, all the way in little La'ie, tucked in the Polynesian Cultural Center's Hukilau Marketplace, you'll find Guadalajara Grill. Ono y delicioso!

Coffee Gallery

Cozy, botanically-rich decor of Coffee Gallery lounge interior, Haleiwa, Hawai'i

Soul-soothing...

is the best description of what to expect of your Coffee Gallery experience in Haleiwa, Hawai'i. This local purveyor, roaster and cafe is what *-bucks aspires to. Imaginative and delicious beverage concoctions paired with their pastries, soups and sandwiches showcasing local flavors and ingredients are sure to please the adventurous palette. The good ol' standards are top notch too. The relaxing and cozy screened lounge and outside open-air patio are the perfect setting to really kick back and let Hawai'i nei wash over you. A stop in at Coffee Gallery in the North Shore Marketplace is always on the Chelseacraft Photography itinerary of any North Shore trek.

Bread & Butter

Gigantic french toast served with fresh berries and guava syrup at Bread + Butter, Honolulu, Hawai'i

Yes, it's really that thick!

Stuffed French Toast- thick-cut japanese bread, guava sauce, cream cheese, frosted flakes, powdered sugar.  Bread & Butter's not-for-the-calorie-concious fare is sure to induce a food coma, in the best way.

This light and airy island kitchen and wine bar/artisan cafe in the Ala Moana district of Honolulu, serves fantastically-fresh ingredients with a friendly no-nonsense attitude. Chelseacraft Photography's go-to Sunday brunch spot.

Coquitos Latin Cuisine

Fresh salad, beef mofongo and bean stew from Coquitos, Makaha, Hawai'i

Worth the drive

Almost the last restaurant you'll pass on the Leeward side in Waianae before leaving civilization on your way to the spiritual Ka'ena Point, you'll find this sweet cafe. Coquitos is the soul of Puerto Rico on O'ahu. Everything is made from scratch by the owner/chef/baker herself.  Pictured is the world-famous Mofongo with bistek en su jugo, fresh salad, bean and potato stew, fresh-brewed suntea with lemon. Mouthwatering.

The last time we went by(time constraints, the only acceptable excuse), there was a line of cars waiting to park and folks lined up outside on the steps, in the heat, waiting for a table. Don't go that far without stopping in if at all possible, even if just for one of her fabulous postres to-go. You will not be disappointed.
